- The Marine Corps Ball will be held on Tuesday, November 10. This is a mandatory event. If you are unable to attend, you will need a parent or guardian signature stating the reason for your absence. All cadets are required to bring their assigned food. Refer to enclosure 4.
- The Marine Corps Ball will be held in the Kentwood cafeteria at 1730 and end around 2100. Guests will be dressed formally as this is a formal event. All cadets are required to wear their Dress Blues or the most formal uniform they have. There will be no uniform day on Thursday, November 12.
- Rehearsal for all ceremony personnel will be held from 0600 to 0700 on Monday November 9th and Tuesday November 10th as well as a dress rehearsal at 1410 to 1510 on Tuesday November 10th all will be held in the Main Gym. Refer to enclosure 2 to see if this pertains to you.

- Check in
- Put food on the correct food table
1730 Ceremony
- Sound Attention
- Sound Adjutant’s Call: Ceremony Begins
- Semper Fidelis is played as Honor Guard marches out
- Guest of Honor and CO enter
- Stars and Stripes Forever is played as Color Guard enters
- Colors are presented
- Star Spangled Banner is played
- The Marine Corps Hymn (slow version) is played as Cake Guard marches out
- Adjutant reads General Lejeune’s Commandant’s Message
- C/1st LT. Starr reads current Commandant’s Message
- Auld Lang Syne is played (quietly) as cake is presented to Guest of Honor, oldest cadet, and youngest cadet
- The Marine Corps Hymn (fast version) is played as Cake Guard exits
- _play a song from the GOH’s military branch_- Guest of Honor introduced and biography read
- CO gives remarks
- Promotions announced for all first years (collect certificate and insignia after ceremony)
- Guest of Honor presented with gift and gives remarks
- Guest of Honor and CO exit
- Semper Fidelis is played as Honor Guard exits
- Adjutant exits
- Conclusion of Ceremony
- Banquet
1830 Dance Begins- Clean area and restore tables and chairs to original layout
- Wash tables and stack chairs

Meal Plan- If you are on either drill or rifle and your are in the class, you will be required to bring both items from the assigned sections
- If you are assigned drinks, please bring a variety of items to choose from such as water, juice, and soda
- If you are assigned plates, cups, napkins, or utensils please bring a good amount of these items. Having more than enough plates is better than not having enough.
- If assigned the desserts, do not bring cake. There will be plenty of cake. However bring a variety of dessert and be sure that the dessert feeds a number of people.
- Be aware of possible food allergies (peanuts, etc)
